What Exactly Is Sleep Treatment?

Our process is an evidence based short-term therapy program to help you fall asleep, stay asleep and improve your daytime functioning in order to help you improve your overall quality of life as a result of a better night’s sleep.

What Does Treatment Involve?

There are 6 structured sessions, each lasting 50-60 minutes in length. You will describe your sleep problems to your provider where you will work together to monitor your sleep using a simple sleep diary. Education will be provided on sleep and insomnia and ways to improve your sleep. You will then have an opportunity to utilize your new skills outside of sessions.

How Will It Feel?

As you complete the therapy program, you will experience an improvement in the quality of sleep, and then in the quantity of sleep. You will also experience improved alertness and overall energy. Continued use of CBT-I tools will allow you to continue with improved sleep long after treatment has been completed.
